TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • This competition is open to unsigned local Manitoba bands.

  • Any genre, open to bands with a minimum of 3 members and maximum 7 members. Each screened band must prepare up to 3 songs (cover and/or original).

  • Screened bands will be given 30 minutes MAX (includes instrument setup, soundcheck and performance time). Points will be deducted for exceeding time limit.

  • Scoring Criteria: Musicality, Stage Presence, Creativity and Audience Impact

  • We provide the acoustic drums, amps, monitors at the venue.

  • Bring your talent, your own instruments + your good vibes only.

  • You will be performing for the public. We require all participants to commit to clean, English-only lyrics, no profanity/racial, discriminatory, and/offensive lyrics. Non-compliance will result to disqualification and banned from future events.

  • Participants are requested to submit songs and lyrics prior to performance date.

  • Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian’s written consent to perform. A parent, guardian, or responsible adult with the minor (we will check for Valid ID) must be present at the venue during all performances involving minors. Consent forms will be provided during registration and must be submitted prior to performance. No exceptions will be made. This is to ensure the safety, well-being, and full legal compliance for all youth participants.

  • Please be advised that video and / photographs will be taken at the event for use of Alark Co. for marketing and promotional purposes. By participating in this event, you consent to Alark Co. videotaping and / photographing and using your image and likeness. All participants will be required to complete and sign media release and/waiver(s).

  • We will have Wild Card category, Charlee’s Choice, Judge’s Choice, Fan Fave (Online), People’s Choice (Event). Application of these will be at the discretion of the organizer

  • ORGANIZER’S RIGHTS: The event organizers reserve the right to modify, add, or enforce additional rules, terms, or conditions at any time to ensure the safety, fairness, and integrity of the competition. All participating bands, affiliates, partners, and members agree to comply with any such updates or directives as communicated by the organizing team.
